Bio

Lieutenant Colonel Steven P. Jordan is the Professor of Aerospace Studies and the Commander of Air Force ROTC Detachment 595 at North Carolina State University, Raleigh. In this capacity he leads a cadre of officers and enlisted members responsible for recruiting, educating, training and motivating officer candidates for the United States Air Force.

Lt Col Jordan received his commission through the Air Force ROTC program at North Carolina State University in 2004 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Lt Col Jordan has served in a variety of engineering, acquisition, and financial management positions related to flight test, program management, and research & development. He has commanded at the squadron level and served on a major command staff supporting Air Mobility Command.

Prior to his current assignment, Lt Col Jordan served as the Technical Director of the Strategic Services Division of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.
